Description
Number 82 Street is a town house, now used as offices, dating from the mid to late 18th century and has been altered. It is constructed of brown Flemish bond brick with a grey slate roof and stands three storeys tall. The building features a painted sandstone plinth and a modern glazed door with three replaced concrete steps on the east side. There is a modern shop window, and the second storey has a sillband made of painted stone. The third storey has painted stone sills and wedge lintels, with two flush sash windows, each with four panes, on both upper storeys. The frieze and cornice display roundels and stopped reeding. A ridge chimney is located at the west end. At the rear, there is a long wing with a monopitch roof. The main rear wall includes one flush 12-pane sash window on the second and third storeys, while the rear wing has a damaged 12-pane sash and a 4-pane sash on its end, along with a sash window on its east face. The interior has not been inspected.
