Description
No. 35 is a house that has been converted into offices. It dates from the 17th century but was remodeled in the mid-19th century. The front is made of random bond red brick with yellow brick quoins and dressings, topped with a Welsh slate roof and featuring a brick stack. The building is L-shaped, with three storeys and a two-window range. The ground floor has a 20th-century door flanked by mid-19th-century pilasters, with an overlight to the left and a 20th-century office front. There are segmental arches over mid-19th-century sash windows, and a central lunette window on the second floor. The roof is gabled with stacks at the gable ends. The rear wing, which is from the 17th century, is rendered and has an old tile gabled roof. Inside, the ground floor features 17th-century chamfered beams and timber framing on the side walls, as well as in the rear gabled block.
