Description

Walnut Tree Cottage is a cottage that likely dates from the late 17th century and has undergone some alterations since then. It features large timber framing with passing braces and a clunch rubble base for the stack located to the right of the center. The roof is thatch-hipped, and there is a brick ridge stack also positioned to the right of the center. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. A 20th-century door is located to the right, and the windows display irregular fenestration with casements. There is a swept dormer in the center. The interior has not been inspected.
