Description

The Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, located in Harwell Townsend. It is likely built on a timber-frame structure with a rendered ground floor, and the first floor has exposed large timber-framing with painted brick infill. The roof is covered in old plain tiles, and there is a brick ridge stack positioned to the right of the centre. The house is two storeys high and has a two-window range, set at an angle to the street. A 20th-century door is centrally positioned, and the windows are 20th-century casements, mostly of two lights. Large timber framing is visible at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
