Description

This is a house dating from the mid-to-late 18th century, located on North Street in Marcham. The building is constructed of uncoursed limestone rubble, with chequer brick visible at the top of the left-hand gable wall. It has a gabled roof covered in old tiles, with a brick ridge stack. The house follows a two-unit plan and has a single window range. Above a 20th-century porch and front door is a blocked window, which has a timber lintel. A single-storey service range, built of similar materials and with a brick end stack, extends to the right. The interior has not been inspected, but is likely to be of interest. The building is included in the listing primarily for group value.
