Description

St Margarets is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is built of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled roof covered with 20th-century tiles, along with 20th-century brick end stacks. The house has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high with a two-window range. The ground floor has timber lintels that are stop-chamfered above the 20th-century windows. A chamfered timber lintel is positioned over the central plank door, which is supported by carved brackets beneath an 18th-century pediment hood. The interior was remodelled in the 1960s. This building is included for its group value.
