Description

The Cock Inn is a house that has been converted into a public house, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof with a brick stack at one end. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a three-window range. A 20th-century porch has been added to the front. The windows have keyed flat stone arches and there are gabled roof dormers. At the rear, there are outshuts that flank a stair turret, along with a 20th-century extension. The first floor has not been inspected, but the building is included for its group value.
