Description

The Grange is a barn located approximately 20 meters southwest of Hinton Waldrist, dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a thatched roof. The barn has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor and a gabled porch at the front. There are splayed ventilation slits on all walls and a half-hipped roof. Inside, there is an old brick floor and a five-bay collar truss roof supported by side struts and butt purlins.
