Description

This barn, located approximately 25 meters south-southwest of Harcourt House, dates from the mid to late 17th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and features a gabled stone slate roof. The barn has a five-bay plan with a central threshing floor and a gabled midstrey that includes 20th-century doors, along with dressed quoins at the rear entry. Ventilation slits are present in the end gables. Inside, the barn boasts a five-bay queen-post roof with arched windbraces and butt purlins.
