Description
Two cottages located on Church Road, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. They are constructed from coursed limestone rubble and feature a thatched roof with brick stacks. The cottages have a two-unit plan, are one storey high with an attic, and present a four-window range. There are timber lintels above two plank doors, late 19th century casements, and an 18th century casement on the right. The half-dormers include two 18th century three-light casements and two late 19th century casements. The roof is half-hipped, with a gable end on the left and ridge stacks. Inside, the cottage on the right has a chamfered beam with a cyma-moulded stop, although the roof is obscured.
