Description

Two cottages, dating from the 18th century. They are located in Bartongate, Steeple Barton. The cottages are constructed from coursed limestone rubble, with a gabled thatched roof and mid-19th century brick end and ridge stacks. The building has a 4-unit plan and a single storey with an attic, featuring a 6-window range. Timber lintels are above the 20th-century doors and windows. The interior was not inspected.
