Description
Musgrive Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations from the early 19th century affecting the windows and an addition on the left side. The building features a plinth made of uncoursed rubble stone and is constructed of red brick with random flared headers. It has an old plain-tile half-hipped roof and a brick internal stack located on the left side of the rear slope. The farmhouse is two stories high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a four-panel door topped with a segmental brick head. On either side of the door are 19th-century tripartite horned sash windows, each with segmental brick heads. There is a flat brick band between the ground and first floors, and a four-pane horned sash window is located in the center of the first floor, with additional 19th-century tripartite horned sashes on the left and right. The 19th-century addition forms a cross-wing on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
