Description
Horseshoe Cottage is a house dating from the 17th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. The building is constructed of flint with some stone rubble, featuring brick dressings on the ground floor. It has an old plain-tile roof on the lower slope and a thatched main roof, with brick stacks at each end. The cottage is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. There is a 20th-century plank door at the centre, a three-light wood casement window to the left, and a two-light wood casement window to the right. A swept dormer with a three-light casement is located at the centre of the attic. At the rear, there is large timber framing with painted infill. The interior has not been inspected. Additionally, there is a 20th-century addition forming a cross-wing to the left.
