Description

Purley Cottage is a house dating from the 18th century. It is likely built on a timber frame, now rendered, and has a thatched roof with a brick end stack on the left. The house is a single storey with an attic, and originally had a two-window front. A 20th-century door is set within a 20th-century porch in the centre, with two-light wooden casement windows to the left and right. A swept dormer window sits centrally, featuring a three-light casement. The interior has not been inspected. A probable 19th-century addition extends to the left, presenting as a two-storey, three-window range.
