Description

This is a road bridge located approximately 90 meters east of Wheatley Bridge. It was probably built in the 18th century and was widened in the early 19th century. The bridge is constructed from squared limestone rubble with ashlar dressings. It features a single span, with the arch to the north being 3-centred and having splayed abutment walls. The 18th-century arch to the south is semi-circular and includes a projecting key block. The bridge is part of the causeway leading to Wheatley Bridge.
