Description
This is a 17th-century house located on Samian Way, Dorchester. It is constructed of brick and timber framing with brick infill, and has a thatched roof with brick stacks. The original layout comprised three units. The two-storey front has a four-window arrangement. The central section is timber framed, and to the left is a plank door between three-light casement windows. The first floor has two two-light horizontal-sliding sash windows. The right-hand bay includes a further entrance and a two-light casement window, with two casements on the first floor. The gable walls are fully timber framed. The roof is half-hipped to the left and features stacks to the right of the centre and on the gables. The interior was not inspected during the listing process.
