Description

The churchyard and garden wall to the west of the Church of St. Birinus is a mid-19th century structure. It is made of brick-lined coursed clunch rubble and features a brick-and-tiled coping. The wall runs for approximately 60 meters alongside the road and rises over a pointed segmental-arched gateway, which has a moulded surround and double-leaf oak doors. Above the gateway, there is a stone cross. This wall is included for its group value with the church.
