Description
11 The Green is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with an extension added in the mid to late 17th century. The building features partly-rendered timber framing with brick infill and a thatched roof with brick stacks. It has a two-unit plan that has been extended to three units and stands two storeys high. The earlier units, located to the left and center of the three-window front, have adjoining pairs of casements on the ground floor and 2-light casements on the first floor, with most panels displaying herringbone brick infill. The right unit has additional casements. The gable walls are rendered, and there is a stone bread-oven projection on the right. The roof includes a ridge stack to the left of center and another stack on the right gable. The interior has not been inspected.
