Description

No. 47 The Green is a 17th-century house located in Marsh Baldon. It features a timber frame with brick infill and a thatched roof with a brick chimney. The house has a two-unit plan and consists of one storey plus an attic. The front has two windows and a central door, which is set within a small 20th-century porch. To the left of the door is a two-light shuttered casement window, while a smaller casement window is positioned to the right. There are also two small two-light dormers on the roof. On the extreme left side, there is a tiled rubble projection that houses a bread oven. The roof is half-hipped to the right, with the chimney located on the left side. The interior has not been inspected.
