Description
Glebe Cottage is a house dating from the late 16th century to early 17th century, with extensions made in the mid to late 17th century. It features timber framing with plastered and brick infill, along with some brickwork, and has a thatched roof with 20th-century brick stacks. The building has a two-unit lobby-entry plan that has been extended to three units and consists of one storey plus attics. The front has three windows, with the entrance located to the left of centre. There are two adjoining plank-shuttered 2-light casements to the left and two additional 2-light casements to the right, one of which is in the later extension. The roof is half-hipped to the left and includes a ridge stack aligned with the doorway, as well as an added second stack on the right gable. To the left of the front, there is a single-storey tiled brick building that is now part of the house. The interior has not been inspected.
