Description

This is a house dating from the mid-18th century, located in Marsh Baldon. It is constructed of colourwashed limestone rubble with ashlar dressings, and has a roof of old plain tiles with brick stacks. The house is in an L-shape, with an entrance situated at the angle of the ranges. The entrance has a 20th-century porch, a three-light casement window to the right, and a similar window in the projecting wing to the left, both with segmental arches. Both walls have a stone eaves cove. There are gabled two-light dormers in each range, with stacks at the ends. The interior has not been inspected. An attached outbuilding, probably contemporary, extends from the projecting wing and is weatherboarded with a hipped roof of corrugated iron.
