Description
No. 37 The Green is a house dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century, with a remodel in the 19th century. The building features rendered walls that are partly timber framed and has a plain-tile roof with 20th-century brick stacks. It is designed in an L-plan and consists of one storey plus attics. The two-window front includes a doorway in a small porch to the right of center, situated between two 9-pane sash windows. At the first floor, there are two gabled half dormers, each with two lights. The roof has a stack on the left gable and extends to the right with a short rear wing that includes a full dormer, a ridge stack, and a weatherboarded gable. The walls at the first floor are at least partly timber framed. The interior has not been inspected.
