Description
Parsonage Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 17th century, which was remodelled and extended in the late 19th century. It features timber framing with brick infill and some roughcast, along with brick elements and an old plain-tile roof that has brick stacks. The building has a two-unit plan and is two storeys tall, plus attics. The front is symmetrical and roughcast, with three windows and a moulded wooden cornice. A central glazed doorway is set within an elaborate 19th-century timber-framed open porch, flanked by tripartite sash windows. On the first floor, double sashes are located on either side of a 12-pane sash window. The side walls are timber framed, with a tile-hung gable on the left and a roughcast gable on the right, which features a three-light casement above two sashes and several panels of patterned brickwork. At the rear, there is a 19th-century wing that has a double-span roof. The interior has not been inspected.
