Description
This is a mid-18th century house, now used as Oxfordshire County Council Careers Offices. The building is rendered on brick, with an old plain-tile hipped roof and brick stacks, one truncated on the right and one on the left. It is two storeys and an attic, with a five-window front. The central entrance features a six-panel part-glazed door with a decorative overlight and a painted wooden architrave surround. The windows are 12-pane sashes, some with horns, all with painted wood architrave surrounds. A rendered moulded cornice runs along the eaves. There are two hipped dormers with two-light casements in the attic. The interior has not been inspected. This building has Group Value in illustrating the character of Wallingford High Street.
