Description

This building is a house, now used as offices. It likely dates from the 17th century, although it was updated with new windows in the 18th century and altered in the 19th century. The exterior is rendered, possibly over brick, with an old plain-tile roof and brick stacks to the front and rear. The house is two storeys and an attic, with a three-window front. A basket-arched carriageway arch on the right side gives access to a double-leaf door. To the left of the arch is a two-panel door with an overlight. The central window on the ground floor is a tripartite sash window with glazing bars. The first floor has three 12-pane sash windows with floating cornices on brackets. A rendered band runs along the base of the left cross-gable. The left cross-gable also has two 12-pane sashes and moulded bargeboards. A flat-roofed dormer window on the right has a 12-pane sash. The interior of the building has not been inspected. The listing recognises the building’s group value.
