Description
The Cross Keys Public House is a public house located on Wallingford High Street, likely dating from the late 17th century, with alterations and additions from the 19th century. The exterior features lined render, probably over brick, and a Welsh slate roof with brick end stacks. It is two stories high and has a two-window range. To the right, there is a late 19th-century lean-to porch, with 20th-century sash doors on both sides and 20th-century windows in the center. To the left, there is a three-light wood casement window with a segmental head, and the first floor has three-light wood casement windows. Inside, there are blocked fireplaces on the ground floor to the left and right, along with boxed spine beams. There is also a 19th-century addition at the rear.
