Description

The Gihon Memorial, located approximately 5 meters east of the Church of St. Peter, is a churchyard memorial from the early 19th century. It is made of limestone and features a stone urn with a gadrooned bowl, which stands on a large square pedestal that has a moulded cap and base, along with panelled sides. A slate tablet on the front panel commemorates William Gihon, who died in 1832. The memorial is enclosed by contemporary cast-iron railings.
