Description
No. 3 and 5 Chapel Street is a house dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is constructed from coursed chalk rubble with brick quoins and dressings, and features a gabled roof covered with 20th-century tiles, along with brick stacks at each end. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys high, with a three-window range. There are gauged brick flat arches above the 20th-century doors and ground-floor casements. Inside, the property has plain beams. This building is included for its group value.
