Description

Blackhorse Cottage is an early 17th-century cottage featuring square timber framing with colourwashed herringbone brick infill. It has a gabled thatch roof and a brick ridge stack. The cottage follows a two-unit lobby-entry plan and is one storey high with an attic, displaying a two-window range. The entrance is marked by a late 19th-century plank door. To the left, there is a horizontal sliding sash window and a 20th-century window, along with 19th-century iron half-dormer casements. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to be of interest.
