Description

Ronaldo's, including the carriage area to the right, is a house located on Watlington High Street. It dates from the mid-16th century and was remodeled and refronted in the early 19th century. Originally timber-framed, it is constructed of English bond grey brick with red brick quoins and dressings. The building has a gabled roof, featuring old tiles on the left side and 20th-century tiles on the right. There are brick stacks at the left end and rear. The structure has a two-unit plan and is two stories high, with a two-window range. The 20th-century flat brick arches are over a 20th-century door and casements.

Inside, there is a timber-framed transverse central partition, a roll-moulded beam to the right, and an early 19th-century fireplace with a carved overmantle and flanking china closets to the left. There is also a chamfered bressumer over an open fireplace to the rear right. The roof features a two-bay queen-post design with butt purlins and curved windbraces.

To the right, Nos. 28 and 30 have a two-story, two-window range with a 20th-century shop front and casements, along with a carriage area that retains timber framing. The interior of this section also includes a two-bay queen-post roof with butt purlins and curved windbraces.
