Description

This is a mid-18th century house located on Chapel Street, Watlington. The front of the house is built of English bond brick, while the remaining walls are of flint rubble with brick dressings. A timber-framed gable is visible on the right-hand side. The roof is covered in old tiles, and there is a brick chimney on the left end. The house originally had a two-unit plan. It is two storeys high and has a two-window front. Segmental arches feature above a 20th-century entrance door and above two two-light casement windows. The eaves are dentilled. Inside, there is a chamfered beam. A chamfered bressumer sits above the open fireplace on the left, incorporating a bread oven and a seat.
