Description

No. 32 Akeman Street is a house dating from the mid-18th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble and has a 20th-century tile roof with stone and brick stacks at the ends. The house features a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a two-window range. There are timber lintels above a 19th-century plank door, which is accompanied by a timber porch on the left, and above 20th-century casements. A gabled roof dormer is also present. Inside, the property includes a chamfered beam.
