Description

Church Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the early 18th century, with extensions added in the mid to late 18th century. The rear wing may be older. It is constructed from limestone rubble with squared quoins and some timber lintels, topped with a Welsh-slate roof featuring brick gable stacks. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high. The original three bays of the four-window front include 16-pane sash windows on the left and center, with a door on the right that is sheltered by an early 19th-century cast-iron open porch. To the right, there is a one-bay extension that has a 12-pane sash window on the ground floor and a smaller sash window above, both with stone flat arches. The left gable wall features a projecting chimney. The lower rear wing has a blocked five-row dovecote in the end gable. The interior has not been inspected.
