Description
Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is constructed from limestone ashlar and rubble, featuring ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a double-depth plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has four windows made of ashlar, with irregularly spaced sashes; the ground floor windows are four panes wide, while those on the first floor are three panes wide, all topped with stone flat arches. The left side wall, made of rubble and breaking forward at the rear bay, includes two tripartite sashes and a recessed doorway with a semi-circular moulded-stone arch beneath a floating cornice. The shallow-pitched hipped roof has projecting boxed eaves, and there are additional sashes at the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
