Description

Manor Cottages, now two houses, is an early 18th-century cottage row, with possible earlier elements. The building is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels, and has a thatched roof with brick gable stacks. It comprises a single range, with one storey and an attic. The front elevation features three blocked doorways and seven irregular two-light windows, including two with small-pane iron casements and one with leaded lights. Five small half dormers are present, three of which have leaded lights. The interiors were not inspected. It is likely that the cottages were originally three two-unit dwellings.
