Description

Lower Farm Cottage is an early 18th-century cottage that has been extended in the 20th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels and features an artificial stone-slate roof with a brick gable stack. The cottage has a single-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front of the building includes a doorway located to the right of centre, a 3-light casement window to the left, and a 2-light casement window above. There is a stack to the left side of the building. At the rear, there is a 20th-century extension. Inside, the cottage has an open fireplace and exposed joists.
