Description

The Cottage on The Green is a house dating from the late 17th century to the early 18th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels and features a plain-tile roof topped with a 20th-century stone ridge stack. The building has a four-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has four windows, each with two-light casements on both the ground and first floors, and there is a doorway located between the first and second bays from the left. Inside, there is a large central stack with two open fireplaces, each with chamfered bressumers. The cottage is included for its group value.
