Description
Old Upper Farmhouse is a late 17th century to early 18th century farmhouse that has been converted into a house. It is constructed of limestone rubble with timber lintels and features a concrete plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The building has a 4-unit, through-passage plan with a rear wing and stands two storeys tall.
The front of the house has four windows, featuring 3-light leaded casements on both the ground and first floors, with a plank door located to the left of the far right window. There are stacks positioned to the left of the passage and on the right gable. The rear of the house has a symmetrical arrangement with three windows and a central door, flanked by 3-light casements, while the first floor has 2-light casements. The two-unit rear wing includes a 4-light casement. Inside, the farmhouse retains chamfered beams, open fireplaces, and a two-storey through passage.
