Description

The Cross is a medieval village cross located in Woodeaton. It is made of limestone and features a tapering hexagonal shaft with the stump of a finial, which rises from a square base that sits on a three-step plinth. The top corners of the base have broach stops that create an octagonal top face. The cross is situated on the village green and is scheduled as an Ancient Monument.
