Detached cottage. C17 with C20 alterations and addition. Timber frame, rendered externally; south gable end of rubblestone. Half- hipped thatched roof; raking queen strut construction with windbraces to apparently clasped single purlins. Axial chimney stack. 3 bay lobby entrance plan. Central entrance with thatched gable porch. Casement and sash windows. C20 single storey extension to north. Interior with exposed wall framing and parts of roof structure. Ground floor rooms have chamfered beams and joists; wide winder staircase situated to front of stack. Right hand room with inglenook fireplace having timber lintel, stone jambs and herringbone brickwork to the back.
