Description

Tripps Cottage is a house that likely dates back to the 16th century, with some later alterations. It features a stone uncoursed rubble plinth and is rendered, probably over timber framing. The roof is covered with old plain tiles and has brick stacks. The building is a single storey with an attic and has a two-window range. There is a plank door that leads to a 20th-century porch at the center. The windows are irregularly arranged casements, and there are two gabled dormers. Inside, there is one cruck truss.
