Description
A 16th-century farmhouse, later adapted for residential use, with 18th-century facade alterations and 19th-century modifications. The farmhouse is built of rendered brick, with a hipped roof covered in plain tiles and brick stacks. It is two storeys high and originally had a two-window front. The central entrance features a 6-panel door with a fanlight, a moulded wooden surround, and an open pediment. In the 19th century, angled bay windows were added to the left and right, each topped with a hipped plain-tile roof. The first floor has tripartite sash windows. A substantial 16th-century brick stack is located at the left end, featuring diagonally set shafts. A return wall displays casement windows. The interior has not been inspected but is likely to contain features of interest. Attached to the right end are former barns and outbuildings.
