Description

Kingsford House is a house likely dating from the early 19th century, situated on the south side of Benson High Street. The construction is primarily grey brick with red brick dressings, topped with a Welsh slate hipped roof, and featuring brick internal stacks on the left and right returns. The building presents a three-storey, three-window facade. A central four-panel, part-glazed door is sheltered by a flat-roofed porch supported by Doric columns. 20th-century bow windows have been added to the left and right. The upper floors contain 16-pane sash windows. The interior remains uninspected. A wing to the right is constructed of grey brick with red brick dressings and includes a concave volute parapet at the roofline.
