Description

Shepherd’s Cottage is a house dating to the 17th century. It is constructed of timber framing with plastered infill, rendered masonry, and has a thatched roof with brick stacks. The house has a four-unit plan and one storey with attics. The left half of the front elevation is timber framed, featuring irregular casement windows, the current entrance, and a small dormer window. The rendered right half of the front elevation also has casement windows and a dormer. The roof sweeps down over a small outshut at the extreme right of the front, and includes stacks located to the left gable and centre. The rear elevation contains further casement windows and four dormer windows. The interior has not been inspected.
