Description
Virginia Cottage is a house dating from the 16th or 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features rendered timber framing set on a rubble plinth, topped by an old plain-tile roof that has a brick ridge stack. The building has a two-unit plan and stands two storeys tall. The front has been remodeled at the ground floor, with an entrance located between two bow windows on the left, and a further entrance along with garage doors beneath a tiled canopy on the right. On the first floor, there is a long window on the left consisting of two 2-light casements and two horizontal-sliding sashes, while the right side has a 4-light casement that includes some leaded glazing. The roof is half-hipped on the left and features a central stack. The interior has not been inspected.
