Description
The Mill House is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 20th century. It features a timber frame set on a rubblestone plinth, with roughcast cladding on the front and whitewashed brick on the right-hand return front. The roof is swept and plain tiled, hipped to the left end, and has a moulded ridge stack at the center. The house is two storeys tall and has three casement windows across the first floor. The central entrance is a 20th-century six-panel door, with the top two panels glazed, situated in a half-glazed trellis porch. The right-hand return front displays exposed square panel framing. There is a single-storey garage extension with a hip roof attached to the right side, and wings at the rear. Inside, some framing is visible, primarily in the ceiling frames.
