Description

This is a house located at 1 Crown Lane, likely built in the late 17th century with some alterations from the 18th century. The exterior is rendered, probably over brick, and features a plain-tile half-hipped roof with a central brick ridge stack. The house has a lobby-entry plan and is a single storey with an attic, presenting a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel part-glazed door with an overlight and a flat hood above it. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows. There are also two flat-roofed dormers, each with 12-pane sashes. The left side of the house has a 16-pane window on the ground floor and another 16-pane sash window in the half-hipped gable.
