Description

No. 48 High Street is an 18th-century house with 19th-century alterations. It features painted brick and painted flint on the first floor to the right, with an old plain-tile roof and a brick stack at the right end. The building is two stories high and has a two-window range. There is a four-panel door to the left and a four-panel part-glazed door to the right of the center. To the left of the center, there is a 12-pane sash window, and to the right, a 19th-century shop window. On the first floor, there are two 9-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected. The house is included for its group value.
