Description

Homefield is a house that likely dates from the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed from limestone rubble with brick dressings and features a plain tile roof with brick stacks at each end. The house probably has a two-unit plan and is two stories high, with a three-window range. The central entrance has a six-panel part-glazed door, which is sheltered by a 19th-century open timber-framed porch topped with a gabled plain-tile roof. All openings have 20th-century casements, and there is a brick band between the ground and first floor. A dentil cornice is present at the eaves. The interior has not been inspected.
