Description
No. 20 Old London Road is a house dating from the 17th century, with alterations made in the 18th century. The exterior is rendered, likely over brick, and features a plain-tile roof with brick stacks. The house is two storeys high and has a three-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel part-glazed door set within an open porch that has a lean-to roof supported by pointed shaped wood balusters. To the right of the door is a 16-pane sash window, while to the left there is a 16-pane sash window and a single-light casement, both framed with brick surrounds that have moulded brick hoods. On the first floor to the left, there are two 2-light casements, and to the right, there is a 16-pane sash window in a cross-gable. The house has an end stack to the left and a centre-ridge stack. The interior has not been inspected.
